What can we do for peace and justice?

Neighbors for Peace has marched in the St. Anthony Park 4th of July parade for more than 20 years. In 2009 we carried signs telling what we are doing – what anyone can easily do – to promote peace on the personal, community and national levels.

What can we do for peace and justice? Abolish torture. Learn another language. Host a foreign visitor. Practice diplomancy. And of course, march behind the Neighbors for Peace banner.

The marchers and watchers were fewer this year, but as always, the cheers are encouraging.
