Support local organizations, nonprofits, and businesses

  • Donate to St. Anthony Park Neighbors for Peace in the names of the peacemakers on your list. Give them a printout of the home page at www.ParkPeace.org to let them know they're invited to be a part of our important movement.

  • Yard signs: Two styles are now available – Neighbors for Peace and Say No to War! Iraq/Iran . Give one to each of the peaceful people on your block. Call Patricia and Michael Noble-Olson at 651-644-7670 to arrange to pick up your sign at their home. $10 each, including the wire frame holder.

  • Hope Multipurpose St. Anthony Park resident, Beatrice Garubanda, started the Blue House, an AIDS orphanage in her home country of Uganda. When she died suddenly in 2005, her church, family and friends continued the project as her legacy. Give a gift donation to the Blue House to someone who doesn't need more stuff.

  • The Mother Bear Project – Give a gift of love in the form of a hand-knit or crocheted bear. The project is dedicated to providing comfort and hope to children affected by HIV/AIDS in emerging nations, based in Minneapolis. You can volunteer to knit, too!
